I am late in updating AK's 8 month stats! Toby had to have surgery so we have been preparing for him to be down. AK is growing like a weed. She is now to long for me to rock her to sleep like I used to, she now has to scrunch up her legs just to fit on my chest. A few things we want to remember.
-She officially started crawling last week.
-She has learned how to sit up on her own. She will be on her belly and move around to sit up.
-She LOVES the remote control.
-She "talks" more now. Her sounds, sound like words rather than baby cooing.
-She still wears a size 3 diaper, but has moved to 12 month clothes.
-She has started pulling up to her knees to get to stuff.
-She has been teething for over a month now, her top gums are so swollen, I can't believe her top teeth haven't pushed through yet.
-As a result of the teething, she has had a runny nose for the past month.
-When she is ready for bed she will lay her head on my shoulder and close her eyes, but before she will go to sleep she will pop her head up and smile one last time at Toby and then lay her head down again and then she is out.
-She is a very good natured baby until she is hungry and then she screams, cries and whines.
We love you baby girl! Toby and I were just talking yesterday that we can't even remember what it was like not to have you!

She is so sweet! You need to post more photos, though:) I love reading about what she is doing and looking forward to what Jakub will be doing soon. I don't think an older woman will be a problem... love you!
