Chicago Vacay!

We took a family vacation at the beginning of August with my sister's family to Chicago. I hadn't been to Chicago for fun before, just business. We really liked it! Great fun for the kids and good food! We stayed down town and our hotel was within walking distance of all the important Chicago landmarks...Giordano's Pizza and Oprah's apartment building.

We visited the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, the Navy Pier, the Chicago Children's Museum (loved it!), Michigan Avenue, Wrigley Field and the Lincoln Park Zoo. The last night we were there Toby, Anna Kathryn and me were walking back to the hotel and we saw a crowd forming on the corner by Bloomingdales. Turns to find out it, President Obama was staying in the 4 Season's which is above Bloomingdales. We got to see his motorcade drive by which was pretty interesting to watch.

I would highly recommend Chicago for a family vacation!
